What indigenous foods grow locally around Canberra? Why don’t we naturally eat indigenous foods as a part of our everyday meals? What plants can we use in cooking, medicine, and science?

We warmly invite our alumni, friends, and family to join us in answering these questions in a hands-on educational and fun program designed for children.

Learn more about the local indigenous foods that grow around us and why we haven’t developed a taste for these natural ingredients. Explore the DNA of food, and how we can use indigenous ingredients in making medicines and delicious foods that we can all enjoy.

Morning tea will be provided.

Cost

$15 per family
