COVID-19 has disrupted the provision of pregnancy care across the globe. This webinar addresses the latest evidence in this area, with a focus on direct and indirect impacts of coronavirus on pregnancy and how to adapt services to respond to the pandemic.

About the speaker

Dr Marrwah Ahmadzai is an obstetrics and gynaecology registrar at The Canberra Hospital. Marrwah is interested in global health and has completed a Masters of Public Health, majoring in international health. She has volunteered for the Global Health Gateway, an online global health portal maintained by health professionals.  

Marrwah has written public health commentary on women’s health issues for publications including The Guardian and Politik. She currently represents the junior doctor body on the Canberra Region Medical Education Council education committee and the Council of Doctors in Training.
