There is something about being human whereby if we bring to mind what is important and meaningful to us, then we are capable of working through and being with some really difficult thoughts and emotions and still engaging in activities that can be challenging and connected to these values.

Associate Professor Bruce Christensen is joined by Linda Nicholson, a clinical psychologist and educator who specialises in Acceptance and Committment Therapy and clinical supervision. Together they discuss how values and meaning can help us cope with change and uncertainty.

About the Mind Seeds series:

Bruce Christensen, clinical psychologist and host of the new Mind Seeds Podcast, has conversations with colleagues and experts from across the College of Health and Medicine on how to manage emotions, stay true to values, and support each other during difficult times.

The Mind Seeds Podcast is brought to you by the College of Health and Medicine and is recorded and edited by Alice Wetherell from the PHXchange. Music: Pleasant Porridge by Kevin MacLeod on Filmmusic.io
