Hey all!! My name is Atul, and I’m in a third year medical student at the ANU.

I completed the Bachelor of Philosophy Science at ANU and decided to stay in ANU for Medical School (yes, I’ve been a student here for a while now).

I’m originally from Western Sydney and leaving for Canberra was one of the best decisions I made.

As part of my time at ANU I have done projects in a variety of areas – synthesising wasp pheromones, pharmaceutical chemistry, population health, and Synthetic Biology, and even a stint in Parliament House! At the Medical School, I am undergoing placements in the South Coast for the year. Wild!

I've had opportunities and experiences with ANU that I could not have imagined when I was a wide eyed high schooler leaver.
